Umass Dartmouth friend and alumnus Jenni Baker is hosting poetry contest in her new online journal, the eponymous Found Poetry. I don’t know if I’m using that word correctly, I just like it. Think of it like guerrilla style fridge poetry.
If you don’t know much about found poetry, these are some pretty good definitions. I haven’t written a poem in like a decade, but maybe I’ll rustle one up. Maybe it’s easier to find one then write one? Probably not. The bathroom stalls in the bus station might be a good place to start looking, though.

Think of Pamela Dorman Books as an eponymous imprint. Or Johnnie Walker Red as Johnnie Walker’s scotch. eponymn means “named for.” It is a good word.
So I used it right. Zounds.
Thanks for the support — you should definitely enter! I haven’t received any submissions so far, though I know it’s only the beginning of the month.
